Wonderful Wool Coat for the Winter

It’s been so cold here lately, we haven’t had much chance for visiting. The gang prefers to stay in their shelter and I don’t blame them, I’d rather be in mine as well.

I did get in bit of one on one time with the lovely Clodae the other day when we had a break from the arctic blast. She is such a kind and gentle girl. I think she’ll make a wonderful mom and beautiful lambs some day.

These Icelandics are definitely made to handle the cold. When you sink your fingers into their coats it’s SO warm! Her wool as changed much since her first shearing. Just lovely stuff! I can’t wait to see the roving this summer.
